Today we took a walking tour of the sights in Krakow. Krakow was a walled city like many of the cities we have been to in Europe. I’ve labeled many of the images. The label shows after you click on the image.
We did climb the stairs to the Town Hall Tower. Steep and worn steps. Very unsafe. Nice views of the city from the top.
We spent the morning walking, had lunch and went back to the apartment to rest a bit.
Later we took another walk to the Ghetto Heroes Square. The empty chairs represent what was left after the mass deportation of people in the ghetto to the concentration camps.
